Traffic Booster
I led end-to-end design for the in-market testing and launch of Traffic Booster, an on-site SEO product. The experience brought setup, management, and product usage into the website-building tool.
I used whiteboard planning and a setup flowchart to map the decisions customers would encounter. The work connected those setup paths to the SEO footer on the published website; the performance presentation below documents the product’s in-market results.

Traffic Booster setup options
I designed the setup choices within the website-building environment. When customers logged into the web application, this screen prompted them to identify their business and begin setting up Traffic Booster.

Access points and product usage
I designed access points and displays of product usage within the website editor, making Traffic Booster part of the experience customers already used to manage their sites.

Managing the footer
I designed the dialog for managing the appearance of the footer added by Traffic Booster. This was another part of bringing the SEO product into the website-building workflow.

I was also recognized as a co-inventor of US Patent 8,364,662, issued January 29, 2013, for improving a website’s search engine ranking.
Search Optimizer
I worked with a product manager to develop the Search Optimizer concept, then built an interactive research prototype in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Coding the overlay and pop-up approaches let us put both versions in front of users and explore how each offered guidance within the website editor.

Intuit WebListings
For Intuit WebListings, I designed and project-managed the launch and migration of an online listings product. My work covered customer- and agent-facing workflows, screens, and specifications.
I coordinated requirements across teams, managed cross-functional work through delivery, designed price-point tests, and helped triage customer issues.

Outcome
This work took Intuit WebListings and Traffic Booster through launch and brought Search Optimizer to a coded research prototype. By Q4 2012, WebListings and Traffic Booster together were used by 15.5% of paying customers and generated $495 in monthly recurring revenue. Across the three products, I connected customer-facing design with the workflows, testing, and cross-functional work needed to move each idea forward.
